On Monday June 15, 2009 and Tuesday June 16, 2009, Northwood University is sponsoring a dinner speaker featuring a noted advocate of individual liberty and the free enterprise system. Students may attend either of these events at a cost of $10.00, which includes dinner at the Grand Ballroom of the Atheneum Suites Hotel in Detroit’s vibrant Greektown neighborhood. Both events begin promptly at 7:00 pm.



On Tuesday June 16, 2009 at 7:00 pm, Northwood University welcomes Mr. Peter Schiff, President and Chief Global Strategist for Euro-Pacific Capital. Mr. Schiff is renowned for his accurate forecasts of the U.S. mortgage meltdown and the financial fallout that followed. He served as chief economic advisor to the Ron Paul’s Presidential campaign and appears regularly on CNBC, CNN, Fox News, and Bloomberg TV. He will be offering his strategy recommendations both U.S. policymakers and individual investors.



On Monday June 15, 2009 at 7:00 pm, Northwood University welcomes Dr. Terry Anderson, whose research helped launch the idea of free market environmentalism and prompted public debate over the proper role of government in managing resources. His broad-ranging ideas have provided a refreshing and stimulating look at complex and seemingly intractable environmental problems.
