Tuesday, June 30, 2009
FOX NEWS

DEVELOPING: Four Detroit high school students who had just finished summer school classes and two others were shot Tuesday afternoon at a bus stop, according to local media reports.

Multiple shots were fired into a crowd on the city's West side, hitting two boys, two girls and two other unidentified victims, according to police.

The four students had just been let out of a summer school session at Cody High School, a Detroit Public Schools spokesman told local media.

The victims were taken to several hospitals in the area, but their conditions were not known.

A woman was seen being handcuffed and taken into police custody, but it was not known whether she was a suspect in the shooting, according to local reports.

All of a sudden, Congress is paying close attention to Ron Paul.

The feisty congressman from Texas, whose insurgent "Ron Paul Revolution" presidential campaign rankled Republican leaders last year, now has the GOP House leadership on his side -- backing a measure that generated paltry support when he first introduced it 26 years ago.

Paul, as of Tuesday, has won 245 co-sponsors to a bill that would require a full-fledged audit of the Federal Reserve by the end of 2010. FULL STORY.

Here's the deal

As the State Coordinator for We The People Congress in Michigan, I am really discouraged. Here's why.

This is the latest update that I put out today.

Here's the deal

There are 967 people in Michigan who receive these emails. The last email I sent out I asked for feedback. I received 3 (three) responses.

This time I received 2 (two) more.

NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY SEVEN (967) people on this email list and 5 (five) people respond.

No wonder Michigan is going down the tubes.

NO WONDER THE FAIRTAX MARXIST WILL WIN THIS STATE!

YOU don't care.

Get a clue people, the only ones left working in this state are either government UNION employees, or health care, or law inforcement.

Now, keep in mind that for every government UNION working employee, YOU are paying 90% of their wonderful BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD health care policy. That amounts to somewhere between $1800 and $2000 for each employee, not to mention their dependents. And lets not forget when they retire, we are still comited to paying this.

And like every UNION, they want us to match their retirement 50 50 split.

Why can't Michigan balence the budget?

Oh I know, lets pass this FairTax Amendment. That way those of us who don't have government jobs, don't belong to a strong UNION, and aren't on welfare, can pay for the benefits that everyone else gets. Including those Legislators who serve 6 (six) years and collect.

What a deal.

So sit back in your easy chair, open another beer, turn on the Nascar Race and enjoy. We live in Michigan.

So why should I beat my head against a brick wall? For What? The rest of you don't care, why should I?

Yes We Can.

When is the last time anyone can remember the PEOPLE picking the next Governor of this state? I cant.

Are you going to tell me that we have to accept who the DEMORATS AND REPUBLORATS tell us we have to vote for?

I don't think so. I think the people here in Michigan have more back bone than that.

Are we going to let some political party dictate to us?

Check out Jack Hoogendyk's voting record here in Michigan and then tell me who you want to hire for the position of Governor.

If you would like to encourage Jack to run, contact him at jackhoogendyk@gmail.com

The Next Governor of Michigan

The race for Governor of Michigan is very crowded. It reminds me of the last primary for President. I have looked at each of the Candidates who are so far running and have to admit, there's not one in the bunch that I would support. I wouldn't give them my money, my time, or anything else for that matter.

Each of these candidates has their own personal agenda that doesn't include EQUEAL RIGHTS FOR EVERYONE UNDER THE LAW! They have their own little group with their own little limited agenda of promises to that little group.

I am going to stick my neck out and endorse a candidate who isn't on the list of those running because he doesn't think he has enough support in this state to win.

Jack Hoogendyk!

I challenge anyone here in Michigan to find a better person to turn this state around. All comments are not only welcome but encouraged.

If you would like to encourage Jack to run, contact him at jackhoogendyk@gmail.com

Happy News

I get so many emails from frustrated people that I think we need some happy news. Ok, maybe I just want to show off and brag a little.

First, remember I have a new puppy, Jack. Well, my Vietnam Vet older brother decided that he should go for a swim over Memorial Weekend when the Family gathered at my brothers home for a cookout. Keep in mind this is a cold stream on my brothers property.

Well, now you know what Jack thought about that!

Next we have my hearts passion. My garden. I love perennials because once you plant them, they just grow year after year and get better with age. All I have to do is find someone willing to take the babies off my hands because I just can't throw them away.

I have to say, it really feels good when perfect strangers come up to my door to tell me how much they enjoy my garden. The latest was over my pink poppy. Take a look. I was able for the first time, to capture the "poppy" "popping". Art, Photography and Gardening are my three passions.

.

There you have it. My distraction is now out in the open. This is how I keep my sanity.

The Socialization of America

In retrospect, we might discover that 1883 was a most significant year. We’re familiar with 1848 giving us The Com-
munist Manifesto and 1859 giving us The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favoured
Races in the Struggle for Life. But 1883 gave us three portentous happenings. These seemingly unrelated happenings
turned history toward socialism.

1. Karl Marx died on March 14, 1883, and was buried in Highgate Cemetery in London, England. The assumption
that Communism died with him was logical since only six people attended his funeral. But the truth is that it had not yet
begun its murderous journey through the 20th century.

2. John Maynard Keynes was born on June 5, 1883, in Cambridge, England. His political, economic, and moral
influence continues to affect every American.

3. The Fabian Socialist Society was an offshoot of The Fellowship of the New Life, which was born in October 1883
in London, England. FULL REPORT.

Introduction by Joseph Salerno

It is my great and distinct pleasure to introduce the Henry Hazlitt Lecturer, Peter Schiff.

Schiff, president of Euro Pacific Capital, is familiar to everyone who has watched financial coverage in the last year. He is famed for being the most vocal financial economist to have perfectly predicted the crash.

He also happens to be a dedicated student of the Austrian school. He is the author of the prophetic Crash Proof and, most recently, The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets.

Whenever he speaks about finance and economics, he also seeks to teach sound economic theory, writing for publications such as the New York Times and the Washington Post. Today he will speak on the relationship between theory and practice in financial markets. Peter Schiff. FULL STORY

Ron Paul's Audit the Fed Bill Passes 218 Cosponsors!!

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Ron Paul's Federal Reserve Transparency Act, HR 1207, has reached and surpassed the level of 218 cosponsors in the House of Representatives, which means it is now cosponsored by a majority of the members.

The 218th cosponsor was Dennis Kucinich (OH-10), and the bill has since received its 222nd cosponsor.

“The tremendous grass-roots and bipartisan support in Congress for HR 1207 is an indicator of how mainstream America is fed up with Fed secrecy,” said Congressman Paul. “I look forward to this issue receiving greater public exposure.”

Hearings on Federal Reserve transparency are expected within the next month, as part of the Financial Services Committee's series of hearings on regulatory reform.

BRIEF-Lawmaker criticizes Fed's 'secretive and unaccountable' behavior in BofA deal

Thomson Reuters

WASHINGTON, June 11 (Reuters) - At a U.S. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing to examine the government's role in Bank of America's acquisition of Merrill Lynch:

* U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich, an Ohio Democrat, says the 'secretive and unaccountable' behavior of the Fed means there are unanswwered questions about Bank of America Corp ( BAC - news - people )'s deal to buy Merrill Lynch.

* Kucinich asks if B of A improperly withheld material information from shareholders about the deterioration in Merrill's balance sheet at the behest of government officials.

* Kucinich says the U.S. House panel has sifted through 'tens of thousands' of documents related to the B of A acquisition of Merrill to try and determine what happened. forbes.com

Ron Paul Exposes The Elite - WHAT IF?

If this video is showing a blank window and not working, then I guess SOMEONE didn't like it. I have checked and there is nothing wrong with the code. It has just been disabled for whatever reason, probably because it was so true that the nay sayers couldn't counter it.

What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?

Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around.
I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.

Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the Deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American Citizens that desperately needed work..

Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs For returning veterans.

And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican Nationals! The program was called 'Operation Wetback'. It was Done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs.

It took 2 Years, but they deported them!

Today there are some estimated 20 MILLION Illegals in this country. You would think that with unemployment in the double digits Obama would do the same. I know that Ron Paul would have done something about this problem.

APNewsBreak: Major problems found in war spending

WASHINGTON —

This is one Christmas gift U.S. taxpayers don’t need.

Construction of a $30 million dining facility at a U.S. base in Iraq is scheduled to be completed Dec. 25. But the decision to build it was based on bad planning and botched paperwork. The project is too far along to stop, making the mess hall a future monument to the waste and inefficiency plaguing the war effort, according to an independent panel investigating contracting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In its first report to Congress, the Wartime Contracting Commission presents a bleak assessment of how tens of billions of dollars have been spent since 2001. The 111-page report, obtained by The Associated Press, documents poor management, weak oversight, and a failure to learn from past mistakes as recurring themes in wartime contracting.

The report is scheduled to be made public Wednesday at a hearing held by the House Oversight and Government Reform’s national security subcommittee. FULL STORY.

This is what Ron Paul was talking about when he campaigned for the Republican Primaries. He was laughed at, ridiculed, and marginalized. Many people admit the only reason they did not vote for Paul is his position on foreign policy. Is it necessary for the military to occupy so many countries around the world with expensive lavish facilities such as this report is talking about?

Yet here at home we are closing military facilities and turning them into Prison Work Camps. Who's kidding who here!

If we are so afraid of terrorists then why don't we stop handing out visas to people in those countries we are afraid of. Why don't we have OUR MILITARY at home protecting OUR borders?

Anyone who gives me this excuse that we need to support this bloated Military budget better ask if they are getting their moneys worth. What Congress borrows today is DEBT that is going to cost our children and grandchildren. Is it worth it to borrow from the Federal Reserve Private Bank today!

The only people who profit from any war is the BANKERS.

STATUS REPORT: Ron Paul's Audit the FED Act, HR 1207 and S 604

Well, Dr. Paul has tried for some time to audit and limit, even abolish, the Federal Reserve. The hallmarks of Dr. Paul's twenty years in Congress are common sense bills that have been mostly ignored as our past Congresses and the Federal Reserve led us down the path to economic ruin. However, what happened next in the House is amazing - HR 1207 now has 207 co-sponsors, close to a majority!

Q: "What is the gravest threat to the bill?"

A: I happen to believe that if this bill can be approved by Congress and delivered to the President, he would sign it per all of his rhetoric about an open government and transparency. A win in the House now appears likely, so I would say the gravest threat is that the bill will die in the Senate. Senator Bernard Sanders (I-VT) has sponsored S 604, the "Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009." The text of the bill is currently identical to HR 1207, but Sanders has zero co-sponsors.
Therefore, activists should target their U.S. Senator's offices. I recommend using DownsizeDC's "Audit the FED" Campaign to thank or urge your representative and Senators to co-sign this bill. However, writing directly to your Senator's office and placing a phone call are also recommended. FULL STORY

House committee subpoenas Federal Reserve

Quote of the Day:

Owners of capital will stimulate the working class to buy more and more of expensive goods, houses and technology, pushing
them to take more and more expensive credits, until their debt becomes unbearable. The unpaid debt will lead to bankruptcy of banks, which will have to be nationalized, and the State will have to take the road which will eventually lead to communism

Does this look familiar?

Politics As Usual

Daniel Osterman Reports on his face-to-face whith his U.S. Representative, Congressman Thaddeus McCotter (MI R).

Today, I had a not-often-enough opportunity to meet face-to-face with my U.S. Representative, Congressman Thaddeus McCotter. It was an informal, by invitation only, gathering of about 40-50 people, to ask him whatever we had on our minds.

You see, this is "Politics as Usual". This is the same old approach; deflect any accountability from "We the People". Don't answer the incriminating questions and immediately deflect their attention to what you are "trying" to do for them. It's amazing to me how well it works.

I found it interesting that nobody "booed" when I was pressuring him for answers. In fact, several people came up to me and asked for my name and number and wanted to talk. Maybe, they're just afraid to confront an elected official. Maybe, they're looking for someone else to speak up for them. CLICK HERE TO READ Q/A's

Ben Bernanke's PR Campaign.

This feel good, I'm just a regular guy, aired last night on 60 Minutes.

Watch CBS Videos Online

I grew up believing like everyone else that the Federal Reserve was a part of the Federal Government. Like most people, when I was told that the Federal Reserve really was just a bunch of Private Bankers who hijacked this country and put us all in DEBT, I finally started paying attention and didn't like what I saw going on. So why the big PR campaign for the Fed Chairman?

Well, for one thing, Ron Paul has 190 Cosponsors for H.R. 1207 to audit the Federal Reserve.

But there is also a lot of public support for H.R. 833 To abolish the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Unfortunately, the will of the people isn't being heard by Congress as there are NO cosponsors for this bill as yet. This is what the REAL TEA PARTIES have been about. The fact that Congress continues to borrow this Fiat Currency placing every man, woman, and child (including the unborn) in debt to the Federal Reserve Private Bankers is the most Unconstitutional and Immoral ACT placing us in SLAVERY.

Then there is also H.R. 1146 To end membership of the United States in the United Nations. This bill has ONE (1) cosponsor. For years there have been demonstrations and yet it falls on deaf ears in Washington DC.

And I keep hearing from these FairTax supporters telling me things like...

"Your arguments give me the impression that you lack an understanding of the nature of power, and of money. I hope I am wrong, but the things you say make me wonder."

OR...

"Generally, you have interesting and informative stuff posted. But, on the subject of FairTax, YOU'RE ALL SCREWED UP. "

Maybe I am all "SCREWED UP" because I can't for the life of me understand why I should allow the state of Michigan to tax my food and medicine only to pay some government worker to process a "PREBATE" check on some Federal allowance chart that may or may not cover the cost of my food or medicine. I thought we had this issue settled here in Michigan that the necessities of LIFE were non-taxable.

I would rather spend my time supporting something that will get government back inside the box of the authority we gave them in the Constitution rather than AMMEND the Constitution to continue supporting paying 90% of the health care premiums for state and federal employees who violate my rights every day.

The Fair Taxers tend to understate the Fair Tax burden and the key issue, as you know, is lower taxes, not flatter tax rates.

So if that makes me "SCREWED UP" then I plead guilty.

The Biggest Victim of the Debt Crisis

by Martin D. Weiss, Ph.D. 06-08-09

Just as we’ve been warning, the United States Treasury is the next and largest victim of this great debt crisis.

Right now, the Treasury’s finances are collapsing … its bond prices plunging … its interest rates surging.

Indeed, the Treasury’s financial crisis looms so large, it could wreck more havoc on the economy and deliver more pain to average Americans than the subprime mortgage disaster, the housing bust, the banking crisis, and the collapse of General Motors put together …

It could create a rising tide of interest rates that wipes out the effects of any stimulus, undermines any recovery, and sabotages any new bailouts …

But unlike GM, Fannie Mae, Citigroup, AIG, and the many others that the U.S. Treasury has bailed out in recent months, there is no institution on the planet big or rich enough to bail out the U.S. Treasury itself. FULL STORY

Michigan Fair Tax is really Marxism!

Marxism |ˈmärkˌsizəm|
noun
the political and economic theories of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, later developed by their followers to form the basis for the theory and practice of communism.

Central to Marxist theory is an explanation of social change in terms of economic factors, according to which the means of production provide the economic base, which influences or determines the political and ideological superstructure. Marx and Engels predicted the revolutionary overthrow of capitalism by the proletariat and the eventual attainment of a classless communist society.

If the Michigan FairTax gets on the ballot for 2010, and passes, you will be taxed on food as well as any and all co-pays for doctor visits and prescription drugs.

The Fair Tax would, if adopted, give birth to a new tax raising code to satisfy the wants and fancies of tyrants in government___ all the above to be implemented under the pretext of the "Fair Tax Reform“, a reform which promises to abolish the IRS and income taxation, but in substance and truth will only tighten the iron fist of government around the people’s productivity, and demand the less fortunate people in our society to shamefully kneel to the iron fist of government to receive their monthly government check___ a family consumption allowance which cleverly creates a new army of voters dependent upon folks in government for their subsistence.

Were we not warned by Hamilton in Federalist Paper 79 that “A POWER OVER A MAN’s SUBSISTENCE AMOUNTS TO A POWER OVER HIS WILL”?

Here's what one FairTax promoter is saying.

Under the proposed MI FairTax, not only will every legal Michigan resident NOT have a paycheck deficit, they will enjoy their full paycheck (minus unchanged federal, city income tax withholding) but will receive a state "prebate" amount, monthly - based on family size, that will UNtax poverty-level spending (as determined by the Commerce Dept. from time to time). Thus, the monthly $85 prebate received from the state effectively UN-taxes $1,014 spent per month for a "family of one," a monthly prebate of $172 effectively UN-taxes $2,067 spent each month for a family of four. (See chart at http://www.mifairtax.org/resrcs/RebateTable-MI_Explanation.pdf )

"a family consumption allowance which cleverly creates a new army of voters dependent upon folks in government for their subsistence."

Back in April I had an email debate with some of the Michigan FairTax promoters and asked some pointed questions about what they claimed it would do and what I actually read in the FairTax bill that it would do. I received this response from Roger Bucchholtz, the volunteer director of this movement.

The MI FairTax is not the answer to all problems.

It does not immediately cut the funds to the state as many citizens think would be desirable. However, it makes our true tax burden visible for the first time in generations. This knowledge is essential for citizens to address the level of taxation. If we aren't aware that on average 20% of the price of the goods and services we buy that are produced in the U.S. are taxes embedded in the price, we citizens will not be able to address the problem. The MI FairTax will appear on every sales receipt.

It does not create jobs directly, but by removing embedded taxes from the prices of Michigan produced goods and services Michigan business and labor will be better able to compete in the global economy. The elimination of most business taxes will give Michigan the most business friendly tax environment in the U.S. ... and this just might cause companies and jobs to move to Michigan.

It does not eliminate the problem of high individual real estate taxes (property taxes) however, by eliminating the state (not local) property taxes on business property we decrease the cost of products made in Michigan, thus lowering our cost of purchasing these products and making Michigan business and labor more competitive. Although much consideration was given to eliminating local property taxes via the MI FairTax, it was not done at this time primarily because doing so would result in the sales tax rate being too high relative to other states which would make purchasing from out of state economically attractive.

The MI FairTax proposal does not eliminate city income taxes. This is partially because doing so would cause the sales tax rate to be too high relative to other states, and it is generally considered to be a local issue rather than a statewide issue.

The proposal does allow for the tax rate to be increased... but only by a vote of the people. It can not be increased by the legislature.

The MI FairTax does not dismantle all of the state tax collection and enforcement bureaucracy, but by eliminating state income tax and business taxes the Treasury Department will be cut in half at a minimum. At the national level the the FairTax the IRS will be replaced by a Treasury group 10% of today's size.

MI FairTax is supported by Republicans... and Democrats, Libertarians, Greens, Constitutional, independents, etc. We welcome all who want to bring about real tax reform and to introduce a tax system consistent with what our Founding Fathers intended.

I appreciate your passion for change that is real and lasting. I encourage you to visit www.fairtax.org to view the economic studies done by top economists from America's best universities and think tanks... including the Cato Institute, a Libertarian think tank. I also encourage you to look more at the MI FairTax website www.fairtax.org for how the MI FairTax will do more for Michigan and its citizens and our freedom than any other legislation contemplated or possible.

We are all working for major change in the same direction... toward that which our Founding Fathers intended. We have assembled on the eve of Tax Day Tea Parties across the state in a combined effort to bring about this change. It is counterproductive to point at each other to find fault, whether that fault is real or mistaken. We must work together now and in the future or we will all fail. We know the enemy and it is not us. Let's get the job done.

Roger Buchholtz

MI FairTax diirector (volunteer)

It's up to each and every one of you to fully examine this FairTax proposal with open eyes before making up your mind about supporting or not supporting it. I did and I do not support this Amendment to our State Constitution.

The Iron Web

Without giving away the plot of the book, I have to say that Larken Rose really surprised me with The Iron Web.

He has taken a very political subject and written a Fictional Story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It has all the elements of a well written novel, with drama, suspense, and yes, even romance.

It reminds me of a Historical Novel but set in the future. This is a book that I would give to anyone to read. While they may not agree with the ending, they will certainly enjoy the book and maybe rethink a few aspects of their own lives.

I’m not going to say anything more except order the book and see for yourself.

RON PAUL & COMPETING CURRENCIES

Here is a really good article written back in November, 2007 by Dr. Edwin Vieira, Jr., Ph.D., J.D. It's still a good read and applies to the cases below.

Dr. Edwin Vieira, Jr., Ph.D., J.D.

Edwin Vieira, Jr., holds four degrees from Harvard: A.B. (Harvard College), A.M. and Ph.D. (Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences), and J.D. (Harvard Law School).

As America’s inherently self-destructive monetary and banking systems lurch from crisis to crisis—and one foreign country after another announces its intention to reduce its reliance on Federal Reserve Notes as a “reserve” currency, and perhaps soon as any currency at all—I am tempted to say, “I told you so!”

America needs to take action to replace the Federal Reserve System and its rotting paper currency before the System’s house of cards finally collapses on her head. Because, when the roof does fall in, a plethora of other very nasty events will follow very soon thereafter. Therefore, before means now.

So what is to be done? The solution to the problems the Federal Reserve System poses is to set up a system of competing currencies: Federal Reserve Notes and base-metallic Treasury coinage on one side, silver and gold coin on the other. Actually, America already has all the necessary elements to put such a system into operation: FULL STORY.

Everybody is in Debt and lives on Credit!
A example that I received today that I thought was very good.

It is the month of August, on the shores of the Black Sea. It is raining, and the little town looks totally deserted. It is tough
times, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit. Suddenly, a rich tourist comes to town.

He enters the only hotel, lays a 100 Euro note on the reception counter, and goes to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one. The hotel proprietor takes the 100 Euro note and runs to pay his debt to the butcher. The butcher takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to the pig grower. The pig grower takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to the supplier of his feed and fuel. The supplier of feed and fuel takes the 100 Euro note and runs to pay his debt to the town’s prostitute that in these hard times, gave her “services” on credit. The hooker runs to the hotel, and pays off her debt with the 100 Euro note to the hotel proprietor to pay for the rooms that she rented when she brought her clients there. The hotel proprietor then lays the 100 Euro note back on the counter so that the rich tourist will not suspect anything. At that moment, the rich tourist comes down stairs after inspecting the rooms, and takes his 100 Euro note, after saying that he did not like any of the rooms, and leaves town.

No one earned anything. However, the whole town is now without debt, and looks to the future with a lot of optimism….

Is The Federal Reserve Running Scared?

Yesterday I took the day off from the internet. Sorry, I had a new book I wanted to read. "The Iron Web" by Larken Rose. I will post my review of the book tomorrow.

This post is a test to see how many of you really read the entire post!

Right now, I'm more concerned with all the news and DOJ Press Releases that came out yesterday while I was sitting peacefully in my back yard swing reading and basking in the sunshine.

Ok, here they are. Government attack number 2 on Liberty Dollar.

FBI Arrests Bernard, Kevin, Sarah & Rachelle

ASHEVILLE, NC—Bernard von NotHaus, 65, formerly of Evansville, Indiana, and two additional defendants from Evansville, along with William Kevin Innes, 53, of Asheville, North Carolina, have been indicted in U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina on conspiracy and other charges in connection with an alleged unlawful operation to publish, possess and sell for profit, coins in resemblance and similitude to U.S. coins. All four defendants are also charged in the alleged conspiracy with uttering and passing, and attempting to utter and pass, a coin of silver in resemblance of genuine coins of the United States in the denominations of five dollars and greater, and intended for use as current money. The four are also charged with one count of mail fraud, while von NotHaus and Innes are both charged in two additional counts each, with selling and possessing with intent to defraud, Liberty Dollar coins; and with uttering and passing, and attempting to utter and pass, a coin of silver in resemblance of genuine coins of the United States of the denominations of five dollars and greater, and intended for use as current money. href="http://charlotte.fbi.gov/dojpressrel/2009/ce060309.htm">FULL STORY.

NOTE: What does "Of The People, By The People, For The People" really mean?

Moving right along here, next article. As is normal with the Government these days, "If at first you don't succeed, Try, Try, Try again.

This case was decided once already by a jury but the IRS and DOJ couldn't accept that so they found another grand jury that they COULD MANIPULATE into issuing another ENHHANCED Indictment.

Employer's gold, silver payroll standard may bring hard time

'This is a case about money, greed and fraud' ( So says the government lackeys who benefit from stealing from your pocket to fill theirs)

Robert Kahre allowed but did not force workers who received their pay in gold coins, such as this one, to immediately exchange coins for paper dollar bills. The coin's denomination appears on its reverse side.

Armed members of several law enforcement agencies raided Robert Kahre's business locations on May 29, 2003, to obtain records used to indict and prosecute defendants for federal tax crimes. The image, from a security camera, shows a piece of the action at one of his warehouses.

Robert Kahre, a 1980 graduate of Rancho High, unsuccessfully sued the Internal Revenue Service in 2002. Now he is on trial in federal court in Las Vegas, charged with tax evasion.
Brightcove TV Insider exclusive

Robert Kahre, who owns numerous construction businesses in Las Vegas, is standing trial on 57 counts of income tax evasion, tax fraud and criminal conspiracy. If convicted on most counts, he could live out his life in prison.

But attorney William Cohan paints Kahre as an American "hero" who believes his payroll system helped keep the U.S. monetary system sound, and was also a form of legal tax avoidance. FULL STORY

Northwestern Mutual Makes First Gold Buy in 152 Years (Update2)

By Andrew Frye

June 1 (Bloomberg) -- Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., the third-largest U.S. life insurer by 2008 sales, has bought gold for the first time the company’s 152-year history to hedge against further asset declines.

“Gold just seems to make sense; it’s a store of value,” Chief Executive Officer Edward Zore said in an interview following his comments at a conference hosted by Standard & Poor’s in Brooklyn. “In the Depression, gold did very, very well.” FULL STORY

Only Criminals Use Honest Money

Mises Daily by Christopher P. Casey | Posted on 6/3/2009 12:00:00 AM

The article "Mackerel Economics in Prison Leads to Appreciation for Oily Fillets" published in the October 2, 2008 issue of The Wall Street Journal, revealed the new monetary system in prisons: cans of mackerel, or "mack" in prison nomenclature. Just as a various goods (e.g., gold, silver, copper, rice, salt, peppercorns, large stones, etc.) have long competed in the marketplace to be the standard of currency, so mack had to fend off books of stamps, PowerBars, and cans of tuna.

Fiat money does not exist in prison. Prisoners do not dye sheets of paper green and attempt to circulate them as money. No inmate would accept this as money, not even if the penal equivalent of a Bretton Woods agreement existed between the toughest gangs.

Why is it that criminals continue to use real money in their transactions? Because they have not been fooled otherwise. In The Case Against the Fed, Murray Rothbard detailed the process by which people have been fooled into thinking those green pieces of paper are a proper store of value (the key purpose of money). Once government changed the law to recognize monetary warehouse receipts (dollar bills) as a debtor relationship instead of that of a bailment (the temporary possession of another's property), fractional-reserve banking was born. Fractional-reserve banking is inherently fraudulent. FULL STORY

FIAT EMPIRE - Why the Federal Reserve Violates the U.S. Constitution

My personal belief is that with education, it will be the people of this country who will turn this country around and demand our employees, "The Politicians We Elect" to stay within their authority that WE gave them written within the Constitution.

Fiat Empire is a perfect documentary to educate on Who and What the Federal Reserve really is. If you feel the same way, than order the DVD and share it with others in your community. CLICK HERE

This Craziness Will End

Bad credit is credit produced out of thin air. In this case, when there is not enough money available to fuel a desired level of economic activity, it is simply printed up and injected into the banking system. It is no different, really, from when medieval kings would clip their coins or otherwise debase their currencies so they could finance wars and other spending necessary to their remaining in power. This was a practice that was roundly condemned as fraud and as a form of stealing by Scholastic scholars, who were the precursors to today's Austrian School economists.

For instance, the great Juan de Mariana invoked the papal bull Coena Domini — which excommunicated any ruler who imposed new taxes — to justify excommunicating rulers who debased the currency. Taxes and inflation, you see, were seen as equal forms of theft and as an evil that could endanger one's soul. (The king didn't like Mariana's writings and threw the 73-year old Jesuit in prison for making this argument public, an idea I am sure has come to the minds of Congressman Ron Paul's opponents in Washington.) Fed Failure!

General Motors used to be among the giant companies widely considered “too big to fail.”

Almost all of Wall Street said a GM bankruptcy was “unthinkable.” Most Americans didn’t even consider it as a real possibility. And as recently as February, outgoing and incoming administration officials were still insisting they would never let it happen.

But three and a half years ago, in our October 11, 2005 edition, “GM Headed for Bankruptcy,” I warned you that “too big to fail” was a myth … that the myth would be shattered … and that the final day of reckoning for General Motors would be in federal bankruptcy court.

Now, that day is here.

General Motors, once the world’s largest company, will be in a New York bankruptcy court, filing for Chapter 11 later today, and it’s high time to declare that …

“Too Big to Fail” Has Failed

Plus, it’s high time for all Americans to confront a new, more sober reality: The government is not nearly as powerful as advertised. FULL STORY.
