It's Going To Implode: Buy Physical Gold - NOW

Evidence seems to be mounting that we are headed towards some sort of implosion in the paper Gold market, and perhaps the currency/bond markets in general. Let’s take a look:

Jacksonville, FL based EverBank – a bank with approximately $8 billion in assets and 1800 employees according to the company website – recently sent this notice to customers (courtesy of Warren Bevan):

"Non-FDIC Insured Metals Select Changes" -
Section 6.3.7. General Terms: We have added language clarifying our right to close your account. We may close your Metals Select Account at anytime upon reasonable notice to you. If we believe that it is necessary to close your account immediately in order to limit losses by you or us [GG: We really don’t give a s**t about you; it’s us that we care about], we may close your account prior to providing notice to you. Notice from us to one of you is notice to all of you [GG: the nerve of these people!]. If we close your account, we reserve the right to convert your Precious Metals to U.S. dollars and tender the balance to you by mail [GG: I am willing to bet my entire Gold stash that when you receive these "converted" dollars, they will be nowhere near the market price of physical. What did you think that whole "limit losses" thing meant?] .

If you have a "Non FDIC Insured Metals Select" account with these people, you can pretty much say goodbye to any chances of ever seeing your metal. This is a clear sign that the (already tight) availability of physical metal at the manipulated Comex futures paper price is in danger of vanishing altogether. Think about it. What is the scenario in which they avoid catastrophic losses while at the same time sending you the US dollar value of the metal? When the official or Comex price has fully decoupled from the physical price. Expect to see more such notices from banks offering Metals "Investments". FULL STORY

EXPLOSIVE: Lehman - Where Are The Cops?

From the paper:

Lehman employed off-balance sheet devices, known within Lehman as “Repo 105” and “Repo 108” transactions, to temporarily remove securities inventory from its balance sheet, usually for a period of seven to ten days, and to create a materially misleading picture of the firm’s financial condition in late 2007 and 2008.2847 FULL STORY

Protesters turn out for scheduled Waterford roof demolition

By CAROL HOPKINS
Of The Oakland Press

Some came with flags that read, “Don’t Tread on Me.” Others carried copies of the First Amendment and the Citizens Rule Book.

Altogether, about 20 people showed up Tuesday to protest the scheduled demolition of a patio roof in Waterford Township — but no contractor came to do take it down. Township officials said they decided to wait.

“All the elements were not in place and we didn’t feel it was proper to go ahead at this time,” said Waterford Township Supervisor Carl Solden. FULL STORY AND VIDEO

Revolt in Iceland offers glimpse of America's future

Faced with the failure of the Icelandic banks, the governments of Britain and the Netherlands bailed out their investors, then demanded Iceland pay them back. The Icelandic government wanted to secure a multi-billion euro loan from the International Monetary Fund, but the IMF held the loan up until Iceland promised to compensate Britain and the Netherlands.

After all the backroom negotiations, Icelanders learned just how deeply in debt they would each soon be. Britain's Telegraph reported that the agreement "will saddle each citizen with 11,000 pounds of debt and amounts to 40 percent of Iceland's gross domestic product."

The people had become desperately poor -- no one had bailed them out -- and now the government was announcing a deal that was sure to prolong their poverty for years. President Olafur Grimsson blocked the agreement and demanded a referendum on the arrangement.

Last weekend, about 90 percent of Iceland's people rejected the deal. They said no to the banks' many sweetheart deals to friends and family -- billions in unsound loans with virtually no security. They said no to rescuing foolish investors who lost their risk capital when their own savings had vanished.

They said no to their government throwing good money after bad. They said no to government taking on more debt as a solution to a debt crisis.

The voters of Iceland know more about economics than their leaders and bankers and economists. FULL STORY

Iceland opposition toughens on new "Icesave" talks

By Omar Valdimarsson

REYKJAVIK, March 10 (Reuters) - Iceland's opposition turned up the heat on the centre-left government on Wednesday to hold out for a tough new "Icesave" debt accord with Britain and the Netherlands, after a referendum rejection of its previous deal.

Iceland has for months struggled to find a way to pay back $5 billion in losses to the two European Union countries, with vital foreign aid on hold until Reykjavik resolves the issue. FULL STORY

Protecting the role and responsibility of the jury

Many people are just learning what should be taught in our grade schools as part of Civics Education. As grassroots Tea Party groups form, they are starting to hold classes on the Constitution. They should be including classes on their Stat Constitution, from the time of the very first when they entered Statehood to present. These documents can usually be found on the state legislators web site under historical documents.

Tea Party groups should also be teaching Civics Classes which include Jury Duty. I have been sending people to the Fully Informed Jury Association where they will find Power Point Presentations, Question and Answer videos, and a host of articles and materials to help educate others.

Jury Duty is one of the most empowering tools that our Founders put in place for us to keep the checks and balance in government. How many times have you voted for a candidate who promised one thing, but when in office does the opposite?

I have had some tell me that Jury Nullification is Anarchy. That juries can't be trusted. Well, here is a lesson in Jury Duty and it's posted right on the U. S. Courts.gov site.

The Trial of William Penn

"The trial takes about twenty minutes. It is amusing and more complex than it appears. Although it may seem simplistic it deals with two very important issues, the writ of habeas corpus and jury nullification."
The next question I get is where did I get the Court Citations that tell us that while the court knows that Jurors have the right to disregard the judges instructions, but that the court doesn't have to tell jurors this.

Well, I found those case citations right in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Criminal Pattern Jury Instructions. So I really hope that people will finally take this tool more seriously and not only educate themselves on it but also others.

The jurors have the power to ignore the court's instructions and bring in a not guilty verdict contrary to the law and the facts. Horning v. District of Columbia, 254 U.S. 135, 138, 41 S.Ct. 53, 54, 65 L.Ed. 185 (1920).

But they should not be told by the court that they have this power. United States v. Krzyske, 836 F.2d 1013, 1021 (6th Cir.), cert. denied, 488 U.S. 832, 109 S.Ct. 89, 102 L.Ed.2d 65 (1988); United States v. Avery, 717 F.2d 1020, 1027 (6th Cir.1983),

They should instead be told that it is their duty to accept and apply the law as given to them by the court. United States v. Avery, supra at 1027.

The food tax is a Regressive tax hurting the poor the most

The Michigan Fair Tax includes taxing Food. Oh yes, they promise that if you register with the state, using your Social Security Number, you will receive a PreBait based on 10% of the National Poverty Level. What a deal. Well, how is the Food Tax going over in Phoenix?

PHOENIX- The Phoenix City council meeting on March 2 2010, where Off the grid Guy Aka Morpheus blasts the city council for running a SCAM on the people of the city. First they run the city close to bankruptcy by dramatically overpaying city employees at a rate of over $100,000 in wages and benefits according to councilman Sal Diciccio

From there they have an Emergency Food Tax meeting where they add the increased burden of a tax on food to the citizens of phoenix.

Scheduling town hall meetings across the city where they tell the people they are going to discontinue city services like libraries, parks and senior centers in an effort to make the budget balance. Knowing full well that the exorbitant wages and benefits packages which the Police and Fire receive is a full 72% of the total budget. This is typical government inaction attacking those things which are least likely solve the problem they created in the first place. FULL STORY

Clay Co. precinct worker testifies she stole votes

By Bill Estep - bestep@herald-leader.com

FRANKFORT — A former Clay County precinct worker testified Friday that top election officers in the county taught her how to change people's choices on voting machines to steal votes in the May 2006 primary.

Wanda White testified that Clerk Freddy Thompson — the county's chief election officer — helped show her how to manipulate voting machines along with Charles Wayne Jones, the Democratic election commissioner.

The scheme involved duping people to walk away from the voting computer before they had finished their selections, then changing their choices, said White, the Democratic judge in a precinct in Manchester. FULL STORY
