Glenn Beck's Blow Back

Yesterday, Glenn Back ambushed Debra Medina, Republican Candidate running for Governor of Texas, on his radio show. You can listen to the interview HERE for yourself and make up your own mind.

Pat Gray, Beck’s producer, researcher and BFF, is on Perry’s campaign.

So what's the Blow Back? Well, Jon-David Wells, The Wells Report 570 KLIF radio, did a follow up interview with Medina. I listened live last night but have the entire interview for you here.

You might ask why Michigan or any other state should be interested in what goes on in Texas. Because if we are going to return this country back to limited government, these elections are important to us all. Thanks to RGV Republican Liberty Caucus I have these clips.

Listener Comments

Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't turn my TV on until late in the day. When I do, it's to Fox Business, so I don't watch shows like the View. Now I did hear Glenn Beck make some comments on his show about being invited to appear on the View, and I know how Glenn always talk's about being a good Christian and following Christian Values, so you can understand why I am really NOT BELIEVING that Glenn Beck is always on the side of the American People and completely honest anymore.

Income tax: IF Congress and the courts cannot get it right, why should we be expected to?

By Leaderless America

Assuming there would have been several representatives & C-Span coverage, that would have been a golden opportunity to expose one of the biggest problems of all - the fact that in many cases there is no definitive answer & the laws are supposed to be written so the average person with a decent education can understand them. Some of the U.S. Courts of Appeals have held that the income tax is a direct tax, others have held that it's an indirect tax, the 2nd Circuit has ruled both ways & here's what a federal judge in the eastern district court in Tennessee had to say during the conference where both sides & the judge discuss jury instructions:

THE COURT: He has been allowed to testify at length regarding his theory about excise taxes and so forth. But I am not going to tell this jury one way or the other whether or not the income tax is an excise tax. Frankly, I don't know. I haven't reached that point myself.

OK, so if a federal district judge doesn't know, the 4th Circuit says one thing, the 9th Circuit says another, the 2nd Circuit's gone both ways, how on earth can the average taxpayer know? Mr. Congressman, can you tell us which it is? How about you, Mr. Senator? People are being prosecuted for violating a "known legal duty", but the "duty" can't possibly be known if the public doesn't even know what kind of tax they're supposed to pay! Or if it even applies to their situation in the 1st place! FULL STORY

The 9/12 ers discuss Beck interview with Debra Medina

Jared Law posted his views today and started a discussion that was very interesting. Here's the link to all 54 pages of comments to what Jared wrote.

As I write this post, Glenn Beck is on TV, and normally, I would be in front of the TV to see what he is going to educate on today. After I listened to his interview today with Debra Medina, I have lost the respect that Glenn himself had worked so hard to build up.

I would tune into Glenn Beck just to see how far he was willing to go. I remember when he had Ron Paul on his show during the last Primary, and he did his Ambush so artfully, telling his audience that during the break, he was going to show Ron Paul emails containing threats and Ron Paul could respond.

Does anyone besides me have a problem with this? Does any candidate have control over what some else sends by email, claiming to be a Ron Paul supporter?

Well, my husband is watching Glenn now, and I can tell you that everything that Glenn is taking credit for now, is what Ron Paul campaigned on. Did Glenn Beck support Ron Paul? NO! Is Glenn Beck giving Ron Paul any credit for what he's talking about today? No!

Today, Glenn Beck pulled the same Ambush tactics on Debra Medina that he pulled on Ron Paul. Listen to his radio interview below.

Well, I can't campaign for Medina, but I did campaign for Ron Paul. I can tell you that everyone in our group were respectful but we weren't treated the same by our local GOP's. We were called names, ridiculed, and simply unwelcome at any event.

I remember taking Ron Paul signs down to our local Muskegon, Michigan Republican Headquarters, we were told to just leave the signs and they would take care of them. When I went back to check if they were in the window along with the rest of the candidates, here's what I found.

I am really sick and tired of the establishment Party's attacking anyone who dares to speak about our BILL OF RIGHTS, CONSTITUTION, or our RIGHT TO QUESTION. Lets take a look at how these GOOD UPSTANDING REPUBLICANS IN MUSKEGON COUNTY ACT.

Pictures don't lie, only people do.

So when I see Glenn Beck reverting back to his old self, well, lets just say, he has discredited himself AGAIN. It's all just a game these people play. I know that Texans are to smart to fall for this, just like Michigan isn't falling for it anymore.

Glenn Beck Blows His Cover

Today, Glenn Beck interviewed Debra Medina on his radio show. He will probably play sound bites of it tonight on TV. What a disappointment that Glenn would pull such a shoddy attack as he did here. Glenn actually tried to put words in Medina's mouth and didn't even bother to listen to the substance of what she had to say.

It was obvious to me anyway, that Debra Medina is posing a huge threat to Incumbent Perry, who Glenn's new buddy Sarah Palin has endorsed. I notice that all the Fox people are running "Love Sarah" campaigns these days. I just hope that people aren't so fooled by Sarah Palin that they don't take the time to see that she has sold out.

Hasn't Glenn Beck been pointing out that John McCain is a progressive? Didn't Sarah endorse him as well? Can we all spell "HYPOCRITE"!!!

This interview was nothing more than an Ambush to try and discredit Debra Medina. I hope you all see it for what it is.

Medina Campaign Responds to Glenn Beck Interview

by Debra Medina on Feb 11, 2010

I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way. No one can deny that the events on 9/11 were a tragedy for all Americans and especially those families who lost loved ones.

The question surprised me because it's not relevant to this race or the issues facing Texans. This campaign has always been about private property rights and state sovereignty. It is focused on the issues facing Texans. It is not a vehicle for the 9-11 truth movement or any other group.

The real underlying question here, though, is whether or not people have the right to question our government. I think the fact that people are even asking questions on this level gets to the incredible distrust career politicians have fostered by so clearly taking their direction from special interests instead of the people, whether it's Rick Perry and his HPV mandate or Kay Hutchison and voting for the bank bailout. It is absolutely the right and duty of a free people to question their government. Texas does not need another politician who tells you what you want to hear, then violates your liberties and steals your property anyway. I fully expect to be questioned and to be held accountable as Governor, and that's the underlying issue here: should people be questioning their government. And the answer is yes, they should be. The Untold History of Nullification:

If you have been watching Glenn Beck everyday at 5:00 pm EST, you would hear Glenn telling you that you need to go back and study the TRUE history of our Country.

After Glenn Beck's behavior today on his radio show, his blatant ambush of Debra Median, I'm seriously thinking that he needs to be taught a lesson. Like maybe a drop in ratings.

Normally, I would just post a video or articles here for you to read because I'm not really any type of journalist or authority of anything. I'm just a Grandmother and was a Stay At Home Mom for most of my life. But I have found that I had a very different education as a child than most of my peers. I attended a private Catholic school that taught us the history of our country, something that our public schools weren't doing then and still aren't doing today.

Our children and grandchildren aren't being taught the history of our state and federal constitutions. They aren't being taught Civics that include Jury History and Jury Duty. Instead, theiy're learning about Marilyn Monroe and I wouldn't be surprised if at some point, Anna Nicole Smith.

The Tenth Amendment Center published and article yesterday that I hope everyone will take time to read. "The Untold History of Nullification: Resisting Slavery". The history lesson is nothing more than a review of what I learned in grade school back in the late 50's.

This article goes into the history of States Nullification Rights to keep an overpowering Federal Government in check. What was the dispute about?

Civic Illiteracy
In 1798, Jefferson and Madison articulated the concepts of nullification and interposition in the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions, which were passed in response to to the hated Alien and Sedition Acts. But the ideas which support nullification and interposition were actually expressed earlier during the ratifying convention of Virginia by the Federalists themselves!

Given the fact, however, that most Americans cannot even correctly name all three branches of our federal government, it’s probably a safe bet that they have never heard of the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions or the fact that nullification was used to assist runaway slaves.

The article goes into the story of "The Rescue of Joshua Glover" and how the Wisconsin "Citizen Army" (Citizen Militia) responded to the call to arms, "All freemen who are opposed to being made slaves or slave-catchers turn out to a meeting in the courthouse square at 2 o'clock!"

These are tools that our Founders put into place for us to use because they knew the danger of Governments becoming too powerful and corrupt. Another very important tool is Jury Nullification. Laws get passed everyday that we don't want, need and violate our Individual Rights. Citizen Juries and Grand Juries are there to protect you, but if they don't know this, if they don't know the power they have, then how can they effectively do their job?

Ever hear a Federal Prosecutor say, "I can indict a Ham Sandwich". I have.

While we may try to elect the right people to represent us, we still need to know that we are always in control and can Nullify any bad law they may pass.

This is why it's so important that we start educating those around us, empowering the PEOPLE to take back control of our Community, State, and Country.

Graphic Sex Ed for Ten Year Olds - Not on Our Watch!

SIOUX FALLS, SD, Feb. 10 /Christian Newswire/ -- A new report by the International Planned Parenthood Federation is recommending that children as young as 10 years old receive mandatory graphic sex education, which includes teaching them the "pleasures of sex."

The report, "Stand and Deliver" recommends -- in fact, demands -- that children as young as 10 should be seen as "sexual beings." Further, the report criticizes religious institutions such as Catholicism and Islam for placing tremendous barriers on the ability of young people to receive information and services related to sex and that these teachings "deny the pleasurable and positive aspects of sex." How To Fix the Jobs Problem

by Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.

What is the disconnect? It comes down to affordability. Businesses right now can't afford to hire new workers. They keep letting them go. Therefore, unemployment is high, in the double-digits, approaching 17% or more. Among black men, it is 25%. Among youth, it is 30% or higher. And the problem is spreading and will continue to spread so long as there are barriers to deal-making between hirers and workers. FULL STORY
