Yes, we will have the last laugh. . . Remember the Boston Tea Party, The Revolutionary War against the British? If you are a young teacher probably not, because these such Historical events are longer taught to school children any more, because you yellow belly scum sucking cowards don't want the next generations to know this. You do not want them to know The Constitution or their Bill of Rights!

Well, I have news for you, MY children were taught NOT to answer such questions, and so are ALL my grandchildren. . . Then they report such questions to their parents and ME! And I have had few visits w/they're so called teachers. Because of this, these teachers NOW know better than to ask them such questions, be glad you're not one of them, I truly enjoyed watching them walk out crouched like a dog w/their tail tucked between their legs!

Want to mess w/us? BRING IT ON! YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY one of the kids who were picked on your whole childhood, a nerd, just like any other PUBLIC SERVANT who thinks they can get some payback now w/the position they hold! Have some news for you. . . WE THE PEOPLE tell you what to do, and pay your salary, (and WE THE PEOPLE are the ones who can take it all away from you) keep backing us into a corner and you will see for yourself who comes out on top!

My kid's graduated, so it's a non-issue with me, but-

I'd love to meet you, alone, and demonstrate very clearly what I think of anyone who threatens kids. Either via corrupting them, turning them against their own families, or just with abuse. I'm a former US Marine, and I've got a lot of different ways of showing my contempt. Some of my little blue-ribbon bennies for serving, if you will...

Send me an email, it's listed here.

Hugs,

KD Hanson

Craigslist already removed the ad.

I am saddened by some of the responses here. "My children go to private school". "Craigslist already removed the ad".

The point is, this teacher made an open-ended threat against those CHILDREN who have parents involved in the TEA Party movement. Just because the post was removed does not mean the threat has gone away.
This teacher needs to be found and fired! Anger seems to be the driving force behind this threat. What if that anger turns into a classroom full of children and a teacher with a gun? Will you sit back and say, "How sad, why didn't someone do something to stop this?"

Sure we can stick our heads in the sand and say, "It doesn't affect me." But, it's this attitude that results in tragedies!

Paid teachers are sub-contractors to the Parent's role to educate their children. The public monopoly status of state sponsored schools leads them to arrogance. That arrogance, financially and ethically, may lead to the demise of the public schools.

Believe it or not, if you home-school, small class size, curriculum one purchases and tight parent-teacher coordination strongly compensates for the fact that one is not a professional teacher. The Average SAT score of home-schooled students is substantially better than Public School students, even when the parent is not a High School graduate.

Homeschooling: better outcomes, better morals and less waste of education dollars.

To that teacher, I say, No. My kids are not in your school. Does she realize that my kids are better educated without her? Every dollar of income we do without pays out richly. She can never hold my children hostage to her sad politics. It was the public schools that inspired us to start home schooling; this foolish teacher’s attitude is just another reason why I know that decision was a good choice.

How about you? When will you make a move to stop the waste?

An economics thought about the future of public schools:

1) Public schools were founded to train factory workers rather than entrepreneurs. But, Global economics favors moving factory work toward low wage countries.
2) Private schools and colleges were founded to train leaders and entrepreneurs. 50% of all employers in the USA have less than 19 staff, but the wages these firms earn runs the same range as all other businesses.

Questions:
1) Is the founding principle for public schools now economically obsolete for the USA?
2) Wouldn’t the USA be better off by restructuring at least 50% of its education structure was tailor made to train small business entrepreneurs?

The threats of this school teacher are terrible--but they happen from the left, the right, and yes, even the tea party (which one, there are two now--the real one and the one hijacked by R's who are just mad that Obama won). From every side they are horrible--but isn't that what media does, blow up the oddball as the norm? As for forgetting history, there is much in the RECENT past that many have forgotten. Those of you who think the public school system is aweful perhaps want to go back to the day when only the wealthy could have an education? It seems that the schools that are the worst are ones in locations that are less than desirable, where people are the poorest. As for unions, people should have the RIGHT to want a fair wage and safe working environment--that doesn't excuse the ABUSE that has taken place with them, but lets not throw out the baby with the bathwater. OK, let the unreasonable comments flow toward me.....

This is pathetic. You, whatever you happen to be, are NOT an educator, merely a union thug. Always remember, he who laughs last, laughs best.

Did anyone manage to get a screen cap of this? This could go national through someone I know if we can find proof that it was actually up there.

Does copy and paste count as a screen capture? All anyone has to do is get Craigslist to verify that the ID to this post is authentic.
