Officials see rise in militia groups across U.S.

This just came to my email. It's the type of propaganda that makes my blood boil. Of all the RASIST, BIGOTED, CARD CARRYING UNIONIZED THUG movements in america today, who want nothing more than to continue to receive rather than give, this takes the CAKE!!!

WASHINGTON – Militia groups with gripes against the government are regrouping across the country and could grow rapidly, according to an organization that tracks such trends.

The stress of a poor economy and a liberal administration led by a black president are among the causes for the recent rise, the report from the Southern Poverty Law Center says. Conspiracy theories about a secret Mexican plan to reclaim the Southwest are also growing amid the public debate about illegal immigration.

Bart McEntire, a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, told SPLC researchers that this is the most growth he's seen in more than a decade.

"All it's lacking is a spark," McEntire said in the report.

It's reminiscent of what was seen in the 1990s — right-wing militias, people ideologically against paying taxes and so-called "sovereign citizens" are popping up in large numbers, according to the report to be released Wednesday. The SPLC is a nonprofit civil rights group that, among other activities, investigates hate groups.

The only thing reminiscent in this article is the BS by MSM like MZ. Sullivan reporting that this is extreme right wing. I wonder, has Mz. Sullivan read the BILL OF RIGHTS lately, or EVER??? How about the Declaration of Independence???

I remember back in the 1980's and 90's when the MSM ( that would be main stream media) outright bashed and criminalised the militias.

This is nothing more than a divide and conquer method used to disband any dissent to government actions.

Lets take a close look at who Mz. Sullivan is quoting... Bart McEntire, a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

Now Bart is a card carrying member of the FEDERAL EMPLOYEES UNION. Do you think that maybe this might influence his perspective at all? (You know, those people who depend on you to pay THEIR salery, THEIR health care, and THEIR pension )Can anyone here remember Katrina, where they handcuffed homeowners and took their guns, knowing full well they would not be able to defend against the looters and protect themselves or their property?

If you really want to know who the FEARED militia members are, then look to the man or woman next to you who comes out to volunteer during the next disaster. The next flood, bridge collapse, road washout, tornado or anything like that. Then go read Article 2 of the Federal Constitution again and by the way, read your State Constitution as well. Maybe Mz. Sullivan and The Southern Poverty Law Center needs to go back to school, and learn some READING and COMPREHENSION skills.
