The Coming Obama Retirement Trap Has Started!
by Ron Holland
I fear that today the control, nationalization and ultimate confiscation of trillions in private US retirement plan assets is on the horizon. Rick Santelli alluded to the possible nationalization and forced investment into treasuries on CNBC as recently as January 8, 2010. There was also similar coverage on Bloomberg and Business Week.
Reports out of Washington indicate that new retirement annuities may be promoted by Obama aides. This is just the beginning! The question every successful American with substantial retirement assets must ask is "what will you do if our retirement funds are forced to become the buyer of last resort for US treasury obligations?" Unless you believe Congress and Washington bureaucrats will do a fair job of allocating and distributing your personal retirement assets between yourself and others, you must begin now to protect your assets.
As the United States moves into a new decade of military overreach abroad and national bankruptcy at home, Washington is on a desperate search for more revenue and a solution to the future financing of the trillions in national debt obligations currently held by foreign central banks and investors. Economists, politicians and smart investors know the dollar's days as the world reserve currency are numbered, as is our ability to finance the national debt.
Although the historical government solution to unsustainable government debt loads has always been the destruction of the debts by currency depreciation and eventual hyperinflation, there is always an intermediate step used to buy more time for the politicians in power. This action, usually side-stepped and downplayed by the establishment historians paid to hide the real facts of history, is wealth confiscation. Napoleon had it right when he stated, "History is a state of lies agreed upon." FULL STORY

On the jury, Gene Weingarten didn't believe the D.C. police's eyes
The jury is more powerful then judge, prosecutor and the legislature and that is how it is suppose to be. Pass this on.

Last week I was a juror in the trial of a man accused of selling a $10 bag of heroin to an undercover police officer. At the end of the two days of testimony, I concluded that the defendant was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. I also concluded that he should be acquitted.
In his charge to the jury, the judge made it clear that if we found the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt -- which I had -- it was our duty to convict. I was prepared to defy these instructions and acquit, in the interest of a greater good. There is actually a term for this: "jury nullification." I was going to nullify. But I was pretty sure that in my absence, the remaining 12 would convict.
The first sign that I was wrong came just minutes after I was dismissed. The other alternate told me that she, too, felt that the defendant was guilty but that the police had lied; in her mind, the lying created reasonable doubt. She, too, would have acquitted. FULL STORY
How A Jury Is Chosen:
Jury History
During the trial, the jury and the crowds in the courthouse began to appreciate William Penn’s defense that by merely speaking on a street corner he had not violated a law. The Crown produced no substantive evidence against him. When Penn interrupted the trial with questions and objections, he was removed from the presence of the jury and confined in an enclosed corner of the room where he could not confront witnesses accusing him of preaching to the Quakers or ask questions of the witnesses who testified against him.
At the conclusion of the trial the jury retired to deliberate its verdict. Upon the jury’s return, foreman Edward Bushnell reported to the court simply that the jury found that William Penn had spoken on the street, which was no violation of the law at all.
The judge was outraged and overcome with anger. He commanded the jury to retire again and render the verdict of guilt. Nevertheless, the jury returned and again stated that the verdict was that Mr. Penn had simply spoken on a street and not violated any law. The indignant judge confined the jury “to the hole,” in Newgate Prison, and instructed the foreman Bushnell that the jury would remain in the hole without food or water until a proper verdict was rendered.
Three more times the jury went out and returned the same verdict. When the jurors persisted in refusing to go out any more, the judge fined each of them and ordered them imprisoned until the fines were paid.
Such harsh treatment was not unprecedented. Juries in 1670 were very much under the thumb of the Crown: if a jury delivered a result that was unsatisfactory to the Crown, jurors were imprisoned and fined. In fact, after the verdict in the William Penn case, foreman Bushnell (sometimes reported as Bushnel or Bushel) was imprisoned for alleged misconduct as a juror. He sought and achieved his own release by writ of habeas corpus. (See Vaughn’s Reports, 135.) The Writ was issued by Lord Chief Justice Sir John Vaughn of the Court of Common Pleas. Interestingly, this was the first time the court had issued such a writ.
Despite the jurors’ courageous stand, William Penn and a co-defendant did not escape punishment. They were sent to prison — for wearing hats in the courtroom. Penn and his companion had removed their hats upon entering the courtroom, but the judge ordered them to put their hats on, which they did.
After their release from prison, Penn left England to journey to America.
The William Penn trial helped establish the principle of jury independence, which remains vital to our democracy. A jury stands between the arbitrary power of the state and the rights and liberties of individuals. All of us should appreciate the value of trial by jury and be disturbed when it is denied to anyone so entitled.

Mary Starrett highlights the country's third largest political party and contrasts the platforms of the two major parties with that of the Constitution Party.
Thomas Woodrow Wilson (December 28, 1856 – February 3, 1924)[1][2] was the 28th President of the United States. A leading intellectual of the Progressive Era, he served as President of Princeton University from 1902 to 1910, and then as the Governor of New Jersey from 1911 to 1913. With Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft dividing the Republican Party vote, Wilson was elected President as a Democrat in 1912.

A bill H.J. Res. 45, Increasing the Statutory Limit on the Public Debt, is currently up for vote on the Senate floor. The bill proposes a national debt ceiling hike to $13 trillion dollars, using “entitlement spending” to pay for it. Facts here on the Government Executive website:
http://www.govexec.com/dailyfed/1209/122909cdam1.htm.
See also the Senate website at www.senate.gov.
“Entitlement spending” to pay for this national debt is Social Security, Medicare, Veteran’s Benefits, and Medicaid, according to an aid in my Senator’s office. Basically, this means that all of the above programs will either be cut back or could possibly disappear entirely as funds are diverted to paying for the monstrous debt.
The Democratic Underground writes their deeply concerned analysis and explanation of the facts here:

The High Cost of Cheap Labor Illegal Immigration and the Federal Budget
If the numbers below in this report bother you, then you might want to send your Congressperson and Senators a Constructive Notice of INSTRUCTION to end Anchor Babies and start enforcing our Immigration Laws.
We also estimate that, if there was an amnesty for illegal aliens, the net fiscal deficit would grow to nearly $29 billion.
Among the findings:
Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion in costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid only $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of almost $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household.
Among the findings:
Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion in costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid only $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of almost $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household.
Among the largest costs are Medicaid ($2.5 billion);
Treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion);Food assistance programs such as food stamps,WIC, and free school lunches ($1.9 billion); The federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); And federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).
With nearly two-thirds of illegal aliens lacking a high school degree, the primary reason they create a fiscal deficit is their low education levels and resulting low incomes and tax payments, not their legal status or heavy use of most social services.
On average, the costs that illegal households impose on federal coffers are less than half that of other households, but their tax payments are only one-fourth that of other households.
Many of the costs associated with illegals are due to their American-born children, who are awarded U.S. citizenship at birth. Thus, greater efforts at barring illegals from federal programs will not reduce costs because their citizen children can continue to access them.
If illegal aliens were given amnesty and began to pay taxes and use services like households headed by legal immigrants with the same education levels, the estimated annual net fiscal deficit would increase from $2,700 per household to nearly $7,700, for a total net cost of $29 billion.
Enforcing Immigration Laws. If we are serious about avoiding the fiscal costs of illegal immigration, the only real option is to enforce the law and reduce the number of illegal aliens in the country. First, this would entail much greater efforts to police the nation's land and sea borders.FULL REPORT

After 40 years, Washington is quietly giving up on a futile battle that has spread corruption and destroyed thousands of lives
During the 2008 Primaries, Ron Paul campaigned on "Ending the War on Drugs". As we all know, anyone who even suggests this is laughed at, ridiculed, and attacked by Lame Stream Media and those who are making Billions and Billions off UNICOR Prison Industries here in the United States of America. Not to mention that we now have the largest Prison Population in the world.

Prepare to shed a tear over the loss of revenue that eventual decriminalisation of narcotics could bring to the traffickers, large and small, and to the contractors who have been making good money building and running the new prisons that help to bankrupt governments – in the US in particular, where drug offenders – principally small retailers and seldom the rich and important wholesalers – have helped to push the prison population to 1,600,000; their imprisonment is already straining federal and state budgets. In Mississippi, where drug offenders once had to serve 85 per cent of their sentences, they are now being required to serve less than a quarter. California has been ordered to release 40,000 inmates because its prisons are hugely overcrowded.
The quiet expiry of the "war" has dawned slowly on a world focused on the US's more palpable conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. Last month, the US House of Representatives gave unanimous approval to a bill creating an independent commission to reconsider domestic and international drug policies and suggest better ones. Congressman Engel, a Democrat from the Bronx and the sponsor of the bill, declared: "Billions upon billions of US taxpayer dollars have been spent over the years to combat the drug trade in Latin America and the Caribbean. In spite of our efforts, the positive results are few and far between."
Evidence points to aircraft – familiarly known as "torture taxis" – used by the CIA to move captives seized in its kidnapping or "extraordinary rendition" operations through Gatwick and other airports in the EU being simultaneously used for drug distribution in the Western hemisphere. A Gulfstream II jet aircraft N9875A identified by the British Government and the European Parliament as being involved in this traffic crashed in Mexico in September 2008 while en route from Colombia to the US with a load of more than three tons of cocaine.
In 2004, another torture taxi crashed in a field in Nicaragua with a ton of cocaine aboard. It had been identified by Britain and the European Parliament's temporary committee on the alleged use of European countries by the CIA for the transport and illegal detention of prisoners as a frequent visitor in 2004 and 2005 to British, Cypriot, Czech, German, Greek, Hungarian, Spanish and other European cities with its cargo of captives for secret imprisonment and torture in Iraq, Jordan and Azerbaijan. Lately I am trying to be a uniter and not a divider, trying to find places where the left and I agree.
Anti-war, marriage rights, freedom to do more of what you want without a nanny state.
But... fiscally I just can't relate. The whole welfare entitlement mentality is beyond my comprehension.
I understand wanting to help those in need, I just don't know who would choose the Federal Government to do it. It seems like they kicked butts at "the arts" and flunked Economics. We have plans to spend $500,000 to create 1 job. How does this make sense?
This is Barack Obama talking about truck driver training, and being asked if he is a bank..... more or less.

Senator Bishop why is the Senate under your leadership fast tracking bills that are bad for families and increasing the control of FOC and family courts. When I talked with you on Mackinaw Island you assured me that you understood the issues with the FOC and would fight to change this. Should the Family Rights groups look to another canadate to support for the AG in 2010? The first round of bills passed thru the Senate were set to make it easier for the FOC to remove Drivers Lic. and I have proof of thier tactics and admittance that this likely makes it hard to parent. Stop allowing the Seante to destroy our families.

Perhaps Michigan needs to re-enact this law.

Chapter XI: The Alliance of Bankers and Revolution
Neither was aid restricted to statist Bolsheviks and statist counter-Bolsheviks. John P. Diggins, in Mussolini and Fascism: The View from America, has noted in regard to Thomas Lamont of Guaranty Trust that
"Of all American business leaders, the one who most vigorously patronized the cause of Fascism was Thomas W. Lamont. Head of the powerful J.P. Morgan banking network, Lamont served as something of a business consultant for the government of Fascist Italy."
Lamont secured a $100 million loan for Mussolini in 1926 at a particularly crucial time for the Italian dictator. We might remember too that the director of Guaranty Trust was the father of Corliss Lamont, a domestic Communist.
This evenhanded approach to the twin totalitarian systems, communism and fascism, was not confined to the Lamont family....
Ivy Lee, Rockefeller's public relations man, made similar pronouncements, and was responsible for selling the Soviet regime to the gullible American public in the late 1920s....
Perhaps Michigan needs to re-enact this law.

President Woodrow Wilson, 1913: "Some of the biggest men in the U. S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."[1]

Parents Beware - Is your child a SOCIALIST?
As a parent, have you wondered why your child seems to view society different than you? Have you noticed that from the moment your child enters school, he/she is always reminding you about environmental issues and how your behavior doesn't measure up?
Well, wonder no more. The state of Michigan has a scoring guide for Social Studies that is preparing YOUR CHILD to be a good future candidate and supporter of the Socialist Party - USA. Don't believe it, take a look.
But what about the Constitution you ask. Well, here's the token 'Constitution Day' guide for Social Studies:
I’ve gotten some responses saying this link doesn’t work. I know that. It isn’t supposed to work – that’s the whole point. The Constitution Day curriculum doesn’t exist anymore. It has been removed from the curriculum.
Now compare it to the future we have to look forward to.
Here's the list of states they are in. http://socialistparty-usa.org/contacts.html

Arizona Conservatives To Palin - "Stay Away"
TheSarahPalinBlog@GMail.Com mailbox was filled with still more emails from Republicans in Arizona who do not want Sarah Palin to come to their state in April and campaign for John McCain prior to the Republican primary.
That being said, I give you a sampling of today's emails:
I don't expect you to respond to this, but are you bloody serious? I had so much hope for you, what happened? Sen McCain is exactly what is WRONG with the Republican Party! This is an enormous mistake, you are falling into a RINO trap.
I can't help but to feel we are all being duped once again. Too bad. - Benjamin
Campaigning for John McCain puts you in the camp of Politics as usual. I am very disappointed in your decision. Sorry. - Molly
*************************
My heart sank today as news spread of your coming to AZ to campaign for McCain. Why are you not supporting Jim Deakin, a true conservative? He is a honest, ex-military, small business man with three daughters and a loving wife.
AZ is tired of McCain, tired of his liberal ways of reaching across the isle. You are not doing America or Arizona a favor by supporting McCain. He has served his country but has out served his welcome. - Rick
*******************************
Please! You have a large and good fan base here in AZ. But I have read so many negative comments about your decision to campaign with him here in AZ. He is so unpopular here and we (grassroots folks, tea partiers) are working so very hard to keep him from even being on the ballot.
This is so definitely the time in life that he should retire. We are going to be the Scott Brown Tsunami in AZ in getting him out and we don't want you anywhere near the fallout. He has been known to get down and dirty when he doesn't get his way. We here in AZ have known and had to deal with Mr. McCain for a lot more years than you have known him, so believe me when we tell you these things. - Rolda
********************************
We grass root Conservatives here in Arizona would ask that you not do any campaigning for John McCain until AFTER our Republican Primary! It would be unseemly for you to enter the fray when it should be the citizens of Arizona who choose their Party's candidate. Think Sarah, how would you feel if, say, McCain came barging up to Alaska to throw his support behind a moderate Rep. running against you in your Primary. Give him all the support you choose AFTER we, the Republican people of AZ, decide who we want to represent us.
It seems that you told us that you were going to get behind CONSERVATIVES? Well, we who know John McCain and his past history like a book, know that John only acts like a Conservative during re-election time. - Jack FULL STORY

What ALL Liberty Seeking Groups Need to Learn First.
Watch the on line lessions (CLICK HERE Principles of Liberty, With Dr. Earl Taylor, President NCCS ), purchase the DVD and start teaching everyone in your community the "Principles of Liberty".
Have you ever read a book which literally changed the course of your thinking and your life?
The founder's success formula, as presented in American Government part 1 & 2 would solve nearly every problem we have in American today if followed. This course will give you a feeling of confidence in today's confused world.
Once a student has a working knowledge of the only correct and proven principles for freedom, prosperity, and peace, then other history classes can be taught from a whole different perspective. American History becomes a study of how the United States throughout its 200 plus years has either supported the principles of liberty and prospered, or violated these principles and suffered.
Can any other knowledge be more helpful to the rising generation in America today? America desperately needs better and stronger leaders. We need leaders who know correct answers and will step forward and make a positive diference in this world.
Only when you truly know the history of America, can you make a difference for a positive future.
Sean Kraft - 61 Days of Hunger Strike For Freedom
"I DEFY THE SOCIALIST GOVT. I WILL NOT COMPLY. I REFUSE TO PAY TAXES TO EMPOWER NEW MASTERS."
Sean Kraft is now in his 61st day of a hunger strike to bring awareness to the lack of accountability in our Federal Government. Having followed the progress of the Continental Congress 2009 and the work they did on the Articles of Freedom, Sean Kraft decided that he would not eat until the United States Congress either Acknowledge these Articles Publicly or Sean Kraft be allowed National TV interview to tell why he is doing this.
If you would like to help Sean, Read and Sign the Articles of Freedom, Call your Senators and Congressman, and ask Glenn Beck to invite Sean Kraft on his show.
I have three daughters. My youngest will be 17 next month and will join the Air Force, my second will decide this week between the Air Force and the Marine Corps, my oldest, is in the Air Force and just gave me my first grandson.
This little guy is Sean's grandson, Ronin. Like all of us, Sean would like Ronin to grow up knowing what Freedom is and have RIGHT to CHOOSE his life course.
We are fast becoming a country not of Freedom, but one where the government dictates what job you may have, what health care you may have, what type of car you may drive, what you may and may not do with your private property, how much money you may make, and how much money you may keep and spend.
Is this the Country you want to live in?

State of the Citizen Rally
Michigan Legislators are as deaf, dumb and indifferent to the Michigan Bill of Rights as is Washington DC.
Sec. 1.
All political power is inherent in the people. Government is instituted for their equal benefit, security and protection.
§ 2 Equal protection; discrimination.
No person shall be denied the equal protection of the laws; nor shall any person be denied the enjoyment of his civil or political rights or be discriminated against in the exercise thereof because of religion, race, color or national origin. The legislature shall implement this section by appropriate legislation.
§ 3 Assembly, consultation, instruction, petition.
The people have the right peaceably to assemble, to consult for the common good, to instruct their representatives and to petition the government for redress of grievances.
When we vote for something, we are exercising our PROTECTED RIGHT of POLITICAL POWER and INSTRUCTING OUR REPRESENTATIVES.
As you no doubt are aware, 63% of Michigan voters – and at least 50% of voters in every Michigan county – approved the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act (MMMA) in 2008. That kind of resounding support should send a clear message to politicians in Lansing that the people of Michigan support compassionate care for those suffering from debilitating illnesses. We need to make sure Lansing got the message.
A package of bills have been introduced by Sen. Wayne Kuipers (R-30), Sen. Gerald Van Woerkom, (R-34), and Sen. Roger Kahn (R-32) that could render the MMMA ineffective. The bills are scheduled for a hearing this Tuesday, January 19, at 1:00 p.m. before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which Sen. Kuipers chairs.
I'm not at all surprised that my State Senator Gerald Van Woerkom is one of the "I know what's best for you" crowd. It's no secret that Muskegon County is hard pressed to find a true Constitutional Candidate to run for any office. Just the fact that Van Woerkom has been able to get away with voting with the Democrats to raise taxes and still remain in office proves that. Now he's working to defy the voters on Medical Marihuana.

I’m likely going to bore you unless liberty matters.
Cheesy platitudes about freedom, our rights, you know silly little things such as that shouldn’t keep you from your daily duties anyhow. You’ve heard people like me go on and on about how a teeny little law is the “end of the world” and likely dragging us deeper into the abyss of a totalitarian utopia, right?
That’s ok.. you have friends in the Legislature who cannot see the damage they do, an executive branch which doesn’t listen, and a judiciary which will likely never say anything contrary to “popular” opinion anyhow. Bye.
But expect to see much in protest to the HB4377 on this site and elsewhere. The passing of HB4377 has proven that stupid is indeed contagious, and prolonged proximity contact in legislative chambers dulls the sense of liberty in our elected representatives. Citizens from across Michigan will be gathering outside the State Capitol building in downtown Lansing to present their State of the Citizen on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 6:30 pm. Organizers are challenging state lawmakers to come outside and listen to stories of how their failed policies have impacted Michigan families and how they can earn our vote in 2010. The program will be held concurrently with the Governor’s State of the State address.
“ Lansing politicians are all too familiar with the state of the State government. What they need to be better in tuned with is the state of the citizen. It’s time that politicians stop listening to each other and listen to the people” says Leon Drolet, Director of the MTA , who will be discussing the state of the taxpayer. More Information

Jail For Jesus Christ
Ron Branson, founder of JAIL4Judges.org, has just been released from imprisonment. Just before going in, he sat before a television camera and spoke about his forthcoming incarceration.
He was convicted of driving without a driver's license, however, he was prevented from putting on his own defense as to why the charge was brought against him.
Branson has applied numerous times at various California DMV Offices for the renewal of his driver's license, but he was forbidded from renewing his driver's license because the state now requires a Social Security Number which is a religion of humanism. Humanism is officially defined as a religion of the deification of mankind as the master of his own destiny, and the captain of his own ship, which religion is from the god of this world.

When I tried to renew my drivers license without a Social Security Number in 2008, I received this letter back from Anne Corgan, Director of Legal and Regulatory Services Administration, Michigan Department of State.
In this letter it states:
It is the duty of our State and Federal Representatives to protect our INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS one of which is PRIVACY. Not only are we being forced to pay Federal and State Taxes to support someone else's irresponsible behavior, but the States are violating our Rights in the process.
I do not have any dependent children and neither do other senior citizens. Yet, we are being forced to put our Identity at risk of being stolen and forced to comply under DURESS or loose our Right to Travel.

"Health Care Crisis" v "Culture Crises"
I received this email today. I don't know if it is authentic or not but, it speaks the truth. Our Health Care Crisis is really a Culture Crises.
This is a young physician by the name of Dr. Starner Jones. His short two-paragraph letter to the White House accurately puts the blame on a "Culture Crisis" instead of a "Health Care Crisis". It's worth a quick read:
Dear Mr. President:
During my shift in the Emergency Room last night, I had the pleasure of evaluating a patient whose smile revealed an expensive shiny gold tooth, whose body was adorned with a wide assortment of elaborate and costly tattoos, who wore a very expensive brand of tennis shoes and who chatted on a new cellular telephone equipped with a popular R&B ring tone.
While glancing over her patient chart, I happened to notice that her payer status was listed as "Medicaid"! During my examination of her, the patient informed me that she smokes more than one costly pack of cigarettes every day and somehow still has money to buy pretzels and beer.
And, you and our Congress expect me to pay for this woman's health care? I contend that our nation's "health care crisis" is not the result of a shortage of quality hospitals, doctors or nurses. Rather, it is the result of a "crisis of culture", a culture in which it is perfectly acceptable to spend money on luxuries and vices while refusing to take care of one's self or, heaven forbid, purchase health insurance. It is a culture based in the irresponsible credo that "I can do whatever I want to because someone else will always take care of me".
Once you fix this "culture crisis" that rewards irresponsibility and dependency, you'll be amazed at how quickly our nation's health care difficulties will disappear.
Respectfully,
STARNER JONES, MD

Oakland Press pens hit piece against tea party protesters
Apparently, any tea party protester that protests in front of a Michigan business is being unpatriotic or something. Worse yet, the Oakland Press doesn't even know what the protest actually protested. From the OP came this editorial hit piece: EDITORIAL: Protesting auto show not wise decision in Michigan .
Uh - this sure is different than their headline, no? No protest of the auto show after all. The protest was at the auto show. Tea party protesters showed up specifically on Monday because Nancy Pelosi and others of our Congressional master class were coming to town to be given a private, red carpet, VIP, taxpayer-funded tour of the auto show. No 'little people' were invited. The protest was against unconstitutional federal government expansion, of which the bailouts were a part. See here: FULL STORY
Initially, I didn't know what they were talking about. Who protested the auto show? Then I started reading. They came right out insinuating that the tea party protest on Monday of which I was a part (Report from the Tea Party in front of the Auto Show at the Cobo Center in Detroit (with video)) was protesting the auto makers! Good grief - have these editors contacted anyone from that tea party? Were they even there? No and no:
There was a protest Monday at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit reportedly by members of the national Tax Day Tea Party.
The demonstrators were unhappy with the millions of dollars in aid spent by the government to steer General Motors Co. through its bankruptcy plan.

Is New Jersey’s State Constitution Unconstitutional? Campaign to Recall Senator Menendez Turns Into Battle of the Constitutions
BIG GOVERNMENT
by Liberty Chick
New Jersey’s State Constitution is unconstitutional. That’s apparently what one New Jersey election official seems to think.
A committee seeking approval from the state to petition registered voters on whether to move forward with a special election to recall US Senator Robert Menendez was denied that request, in a letter on January 11th which stated that the US Constitution does not provide for such a proceeding.
But in 1993, the people of New Jersey overwhelmingly voted to reserve for themselves “the power to recall, after at least one year of service, any elected official in this State or representing this State in the United States Congress” (emphasis added), and in 1995 made this amendment to their state constitution under Article I, 2b.
This has left many New Jersey voters wondering why Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells, a member of the Executive Branch, not the Judicial Branch, would take it upon herself and her position to declare the NJ state Constitution unconstitutional. After reviewing the committee’s preliminary appeal statement, a judge in the Superior Court of NJ Appellate Division has just issued an order allowing a motion to accelerate the appeal. FULL STORY

Celente Calls for Revolution as the Solution
KINGSTON, NY, 13 APRIL 2009 -- Taxed to death, angry at government bailouts, outraged by Wall Street greed, and bitterly resentful of a system that rewards the undeserving rich, the American public is ready to revolt.
"The Tea Parties and Tax Protests sprouting across the nation, which we had predicted, are harbingers of revolution," said Gerald Celente, Director of The Trends Research Institute. "But they are not enough. Much stronger and directed action is required. Our call for 'Revolution' will galvanize the people, destroy the corrupt ruling systems, and produce a prosperous and more just nation."
The Revolution Celente proposes is unique in concept and bold in execution. It is about a lot more than just "taxation without representation.""Nothing short of total repudiation of our entrenched systems can rescue America," said Celente. "We are under the control of a two-headed, one party political system. Wall Street controls our financial lives; the media manipulates our minds. These systems cannot be changed from within. There is no alternative. Without a revolution, these institutions will bankrupt the country, keep fighting failed wars, start new ones, and hold us in perpetual intellectual subjugation."
The country is restless, and ripe for radical reform. There is no doubt protests will proliferate and intensify. In response, the government will call out the troops and bring in the police. They will use the Patriot Act to silence, detain, harass, persecute and prosecute groups and individuals exercising their Constitutional rights.
But Celente's Revolution need not degenerate into violence or open warfare.
"I am calling for an 'Intellectual Revolution'. I ask American citizens to free their minds from the tyranny of 'Dumb Think.' This is a revolution about thinking - not manning the barricades. It's about brain power - not brute force."
For society to survive and grow, it must wake up and grow up. Americans must acknowledge what their opinions are based on, who they listen to ... and why.
What are America's prime information sources? CNN, "The most trusted name in news"? Fox, "Fair and balanced"? CNBC, "First in Business Worldwide"? The New York Times, "All the news that's fit to print"?
Who do the people listen to? A closed circuit of familiar faces guaranteed to take predictable positions. Authorities on nothing, yet pronouncing upon everything; a cadre of media aristocrats, pretending they're the people's voice.
"The 'Intellectual Revolution' must be waged on the battlefield of the mind," said Celente. "Americans are doomed unless they kick the junk news habit, deprogram themselves from celebrity worship, refuse to blindly follow political leaders and question all ideological dogmas ... especially their own.
"For the revolution to succeed, people must repudiate the one-headed, two party system, and learn to think for themselves," said Celente.
While the corporate-owned mainstream media and the government still control the broad avenues of news and information, only willing and lazy minds need be held hostage to it. The Internet world is awash in data, facts, analyses and opinions (independent and mainstream) for all to access and assess.
THINK FOR YOURSELF. THE "INTELLECTUAL REVOLUTION" HAS BEGUN.
Trend Call-to-Action: What can you do? Participating in an April 15th tax protest may be your cup of tea. Pester your politicians. Make your voice heard, your discontent felt and your solutions known. Band with others who share similar objectives and common goals.

"Intellectual Revolution"

Income Tax Never Ratified, So Why Pay?
That's a good question. So let me answer it before you read the story by Chris Carucci on this subject.
The reason is that most of the people in this country haven't taken the time to do the research that Bill Benson did in order to write the book that Chris read. Anyone who has read Bill Benson's book and examined the evidence will never sit on a jury of someone who decides to go to trial for Willful Failure to File.
The Judge will not allow this evidence to be entered in so the jury will never see it. The Defendant will not be allowed to even talk about it or the Constitution and Supreme Court Rulings this book talks about.
Anyone who has ever had face to face meetings with employees of the IRS will soon learn that they are not there to discuss if what they are doing is legal or not. They are just COLLECTION AGENTS. They get paid very well for what they do. I understand that starting salary for IRS employees is $60,000 and goes up to $80, 90 even $100,000 a year. They get paid health care and pension. Do you really think they care if you can afford to pay or not? After all, your voluntary contribution to pay taxes pays their salary, health care and pension benefits.
OK, now read Chris's article.

The Federal Reserve, which is no more Federal than Federal Express, has long since been carrying out strictly enforced laws in regards to the income tax, however, in light of the Tax Honesty movement as well as We The People Foundation, new light is being shed upon this once complex and strung out tax code.
There have been various cases within the Supreme Court defining both income as well as labor, these definitions, and the case names, can help you avoid audits, foreclosures, and most of all, the IRS.
The Amendment to the Constitution that the IRS references to in order to apply their taxing powers is the 16th Amendment, however this Amendment, ruled by the Supreme Court soon after, 'gave congress no new powers to levy taxes'. As it already had these powers within the original framework of The Constitution.
The 16th Amendment - "If you... examine [The 16th Amendment] carefully, you would find that a sufficient number of states never ratified that amendment." (US District Court Judge, James C. Fox, 2003)
The 16th Amendment states; "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."-
There were 48 states at the given time(1909-1913), ONLY 42 sent a response back, let's take a look at the States that did not legally ratify the Amendment, note that 3/4ths, or 38 States, have to ratify the Amendment to become law.
Texas and Louisiana violated provisions in their state constitutions prohibiting the legislatures from empowering the federal government with any additional taxing authority.
Twelve other states, violated provisions in their constitutions requiring that a bill be read on three different days before voting on it. The States violating their State laws are as follows: Mississippi, Ohio, Arkansas, Minnesota, New Mexico, West Virginia, Indiana, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Colorado, and Illinois. Now the number is reduced to states legally ratifying the Amendment.
Now let's subtract JUST those States and figure out how many states are left. 38(approvals not States) minus fourteen equals twenty four. Remember, the legal requirement for ratifying a new Amendment MUST be 3/4ths, or thirty eight, so we now have TWELVE less than legally required. FULL STORY

Obama’s “Green Jobs” Go to Prison Slaves
Don't let the title of this article fool you.
It isn't about Obama.
This has been going on for SEVEN (7) decades.
Have you ever wondered why State and Federal legislators keep passing laws making everything under the sun illegal? Today the United States of America, "Home of the Brave, Land of the Free???", has the highest inmate prison population in the world?
Yes, we have some bad people, but the MAJORITY, of prisoners are those who have harmed no one. They are the VICTIMLESS criminals. Not Murders, Rapists, Thieves, like you would expect. Real criminals don't make good prison employees. Real criminals don't respect authority and won't work for the government. Yet all Congressman Camp and Hoekstra are concerned about is that private companies get A CHANCE to bid on these jobs.

US Congressman Dave Camp (R) speaks about federal prison inmates that are taking Green Jobs out of the regular workforce. These prisoners make $0.23 an hour, these jobs are putting workers in Greenville, Michigan out of work.
The prison industry in the United States: big business or a new form of slavery?
Vicky Pelaez

El Diario-La Prensa, New York
March 10, 2008
Human rights organizations, as well as political and social ones, are condemning what they are calling a new form of inhumane exploitation in the United States, where they say a prison population of up to 2 million – mostly Black and Hispanic – are working for various industries for a pittance. For the tycoons who have invested in the prison industry, it has been like finding a pot of gold. They don’t have to worry about strikes or paying unemployment insurance, vacations or comp time. All of their workers are full-time, and never arrive late or are absent because of family problems; moreover, if they don’t like the pay of 25 cents an hour and refuse to work, they are locked up in isolation cells. "Mr. Speaker, tonight I want to spend a few minutes talking about one of the fastest growing companies in America today. It pays its workers somewhere between 23 cents an hour and $1.15 an hour. It has a wide array of products. It pays no Federal taxes, it pays no State or local taxes. As I said, it is one of the fastest growing companies in America today."
'Well, let me tell you that the company that is the fast growing company is called Federal Prison Industries. The customer is the American taxpayer as represented by the Federal Government. The company is called Federal Prison Industries. Its other name is UNICOR, and this is UNICOR's annual report for 2002, which was just released."
"Some may say this is what it means to create high-quality, high-paying jobs in America. But for these 21,779 workers it means being paid at a rate of 23 cents to $1.15 an hour. Not a bad deal. Not a bad deal for the Federal prisons, but a terrible deal for the workers at Hathaway Shirts; a terrible deal for that community in Maine that now has a factory whose doors have been padlocked, that has lost revenue in the tax base."
The jurors have two main duties. First, they must determine from the evidence what the facts are. Second, they must take the law stated in the court's instructions, apply it to the facts and decide whether the facts prove the charge beyond a reasonable doubt. See Sparf v. United States, 156 U.S. 51, 102-07 (1895); Starr v. United States, 153 U.S. 614, 625 (1894).
The jurors have the power to ignore the court's instructions and bring in a not guiltyverdict contrary to the law and the facts. Horning v. District of Columbia, 254 U.S. 135, 138, 41S.Ct. 53, 54, 65 L.Ed. 185 (1920).
But they should not be told by the court that they have this power. United States v. Krzyske, 836 F.2d 1013, 1021 (6th Cir.), cert. denied, 488 U.S. 832, 109S.Ct. 89, 102 L.Ed.2d 65 (1988); United States v. Avery, 717 F.2d 1020, 1027 (6th Cir.1983), cert. denied, 466 U.S. 905, 104 S.Ct. 1683, 80 L.Ed.2d 157 (1984); United States v. Burkhart,501 F.2d 993, 996-997 (6th Cir.1974), cert. denied, 420 U.S. 946, 95 S.Ct. 1326, 43 L.Ed.2d 424(1975).
They should instead be told that it is their duty to accept and apply the law as given to them by the court. United States v. Avery, supra at 1027.
Have you had enough yet? Are you willing to stand up and put a stop to this yet?
Here's a Tea Party Slogan that should be at every Rally.
"IF THERE IS NO VICTIM, THERE IS NO CONVICTION!"
