Latest Muskegon County employee criminal investigation: Friend of the Court worker allegedly stole public funds

I previously published why Michigan should abolish Friend Of The Court. It seems that our public employees are happy with getting paid better than the rest of us, having better health care benefits that WE pay for or better Retirement that WE also contribute to, they also steal from us.

MUSKEGON COUNTY — Another criminal investigation is under way of a Muskegon County employee: this time, a Friend of the Court worker suspected of stealing public funds.

The employee was placed on administrative leave and escorted from the Michael E. Kobza Hall of Justice Friday by sheriff’s deputies. Her name has not been publicly released.

A criminal complaint was to be turned over to the prosecutor’s office within a day or two, Muskegon County Sheriff Dean Roesler said Monday afternoon.

The investigation concerns allegations the employee stole money, Roesler said. Further details were not available Monday.

Patricia Steele, 14th Circuit Court administrator, said only that “a court employee” had been placed on administrative leave and was being investigated. “We are awaiting a report from the appropriate authorities,” she said. “We will take whatever action we deem necessary and appropriate at that time.”

Also on Monday, the sheriff’s office was turning its criminal investigation of fired Deputy County Treasurer Dan Joslyn over to the prosecutor’s office, Roesler said. “It should be reaching their desk by the end of the day,” the sheriff said. FULL STORY

You have my 100% support to abolish this corrupted organization. They have LOTS of power to destroy lives and absolutely NO accountability to the people. This department is packed with incompetent, arrogant and downright lazy employees. They are rude, uncommunicative and either unable or unwilling to do their jobs. I tried to get an audit on my case years ago...had to give it up - I could not even find a lawyer who was willing to do the battle. Thank God they are no longer a part of my life. God help those of you who sign up for their "help."
